Notes: I have fresh green beans in the fridge to try this soon. I'm thinking a little paprika would be interesting.
- 2 cups frozen green beans
- 1/2 medium onion chopped
- 1 T butter
- 1 - 2 cloves garlic-crushed or minced
- 2 strips bacon crumbled
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
1) Chop 1/2 medium onion and crush 1-2 cloves garlic.2) Heat one tablespoon butter over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until transparent. Add the crushed garlic and cook one more minute.3) Add 2 cups frozen green bean and 2 strips of bacon crumbled. Cook until the beans are hot. About 4-5 minutes. Heat to low. Add 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/4 t salt and 1/4 t pepper. Simmer for 2-3 more minutes.
