Welcome to Bow Wow Wednesday. The ongoing adventures of Molly and Lilly, 12 week old English golden retrievers puppies.

Well another big week at the puppy den. We can seat on command and continue to have new adventures. Of course adventures for puppies may not be that exciting to you bipeds but for the tailed set…

The Week in Review:
Saturday:  Off to PetsMart ( for the hundredth time). We need a nail trim for the visitors on Sunday. Plus Daddy somehow destroyed Molly’s baby leash so it was time to move up to big girl leashes. As usual we meet lots of friendly people and got lots of attention.

Sunday: Trial by fire time. A visit from 3 and 5 year old boys. Overall it went well but Molly was a little too active for the audience so “Pink” dog (Lilly) won the day with her laid back personality.

Tuesday: Back to PetsMart again… we destroyed the bed for the crate and somehow lost a Kong. Today all the employees knew our names… We are regular’s you know.

But the highlight of Tuesday was puppy play time at Must Love Dogs in Grand Haven .  Tuesday is for less than 1 year old and less than 20 pounds. Thursday is for greater than 20 pounds.  It was puppy mayhem. We had Norwich terriers, a black lab, Yorkshire terriers, a Coton de Tulear, a dachshund and others. Probably 15 puppies in a very small store. Our girls did very well. Molly played nicely but very active. Lilly was more laid back and spent half the time being held and petted by the preteen girls on the floor. All very exhausting for 12 week olds.

Thanks for the laughs. Your girls are so adorable! I had never heard of a Kong before your blog…I had visions of an overgrown gorilla!

Wow, I don’t think they could be any cuter looking. Their faces are already showing a little bit of maturity but they eyes still show 100% puppy.
