Marlowe Black Magic Seasoning

A great seasoning if you like spicy but not too hot seasoning to use on beef, pork, chicken or even fish. If you are looking for less spicy, try the Marlowe of Memphis BBQ Dry Rub which uses this as one component.

  • 2 teaspoons onion powder 2 cups
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder 2 cups
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 cup
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper 1/2 cup
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 cup
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 cup
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 cup
  • 2 teaspoons salt 2 cups
  • 1 teaspoon paprika 1 cup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 cup


  • Mix well, seal tight, and store.
