Grilled Baby Potatoes

  • 1 1/2 pounds baby potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder granular preferred


  • Preheat grill to 450 degrees surface temperature. 500 degrees max. On my grill that is about medium. On lesser grills, it would be about 75%.
  • Wash your potatoes (about 1 1/2 pounds) and cut into bite size pieces with no more than 3/8 inch of any part of the piece to an outside surface.
  • Mix with 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Place in a grill pan and close lid.
  • Stir every 5-7 minutes until internal temperature of 210 degrees. Right at 30 minutes for me.
