Dogs in Leaves

Last Updated: Aug 4, 2023 by Dan Mikesell AKA DrDan · 21 Comments

We all need a smile and this is one of my favorite posts every year. And over the years, the dogs in leaves post have be favorites. But they and I are getting old. Here are the top years of this blog tradition.

I usually gather the fall leaves and let Molly and Lilly run through them. So simple, but I love the photos. I think you will agree; they were good dogs for the photos.

    Hi All,

Thanks for the notes and Molly and Lilly say thanks also. You can tell by their smiles they were having blast. The whole thing went on for about 20 minutes this year. The last 40 or so pictures just got skipped, kind of the same thing.

And Lara, Watchers is one of our favorite books.

Again, thanks for all the comments.

    Such sweet pups.

As you are a Golden Retriever lover, might I recommend the book, "Watchers", by Dean Koontz? The star of the novel is a golden retriever named Einstein. Highly enjoyable. Skip the movie of the same name.
