Spring has arrived, and while snow may still fly, thoughts turn to the season of holidays and family gatherings. First up is Easter, so it's time to get out the bunny chow and start your food planning for you and your family.

Main Course Recipes
When people ask you what you had for dinner, you don't say asparagus or dinner rolls; you say turkey, ham, or a rib roast. Let's get what you want. It's a ham for us.
Vegetable Side Dishes
Let's get something easy but tasty. We are making our potato casserole ahead of time. Mandatory with ham. And probably the asparagus.
Bread Recipes
You can buy lots of great bread, but these are some delicious rolls worth the trouble. Again, make it ahead of time.
Sweet Endings
It is a special meal, so a special ending is needed. Again, they can be made ahead of time. I suggest the fresh strawberry pie if the berries look good. Make two if you have a large group. It screams spring and is so easy.
Special Easter Candy Bonus
This makes a great Easter candy. Top with some sprinkles or M&Ms in Easter colors. Or leave out the nuts, make white chocolate candy, and top it with Jelly Beans. Use your (or the kids) imagination.
And the dogs desire a treat, also.
